In addition to the wonderful Greek cuisine, the Festival offers a variety of traditional Greek and Greek-inspired beverages. Guests can explore what the Taverna and the Courtyard Café have to offer. Non-alcoholic beverage stations offer soda, water, and juice. Coffee is available inside the Great Hall of St. Mary’s.
The Taverna is a tented area located outdoors in the south parking lot of St. Mary’s, across from the food tents. There guests can purchase beer, wine, spirits, and cold beverages. While visiting the Taverna guests can also purchase tickets to enter a raffle. The prize offering is two 55″ TVs. Raffle proceeds benefit IOCC, a philanthropic partner of the Festival.
Guests can find the Courtyard Café located in the courtyard area of St. Mary’s. This beautiful terrace offers a stunning overlook view of Bde Maka Ska. Enjoy a flight of Greek wine paired with a small plate of grilled Haloumi or Kalamari.

Food is a big part of the Greek Festival, especially feeding those who need food. That’s why we are happy to once again partner with Joyce Uptown Foodshelf to help them stock their shelves with non-perishable food items. Help us, help them, continue to do great work. Bring us 3 non-perishable and unexpired food items and we will give you one complimentary non-alcoholic beverage as a thank you. In past years, we have collected over a ton of food. Help us double that number and fill their shelves!

The Minneapolis Taste of Greece Festival is a three-day event featuring authentic Greek food, live music, and cultural events, hosted by St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church in South Minneapolis.
